OLD JEANS as COSTUMES

Old jeans are actually perfect for throwing together easy, last-minute costumes without having to buy anything new.

You can turn them into a classic scarecrow or farmer look just by pairing them with a flannel and boots. Add a bandana or straw hat and you’re basically done. For a cowgirl, it’s even easier. Jeans, a simple top, boots, and maybe a hat and you’ve got a full outfit that works for parties or Halloween.

If you want something a little more creative, you can rough them up for a “hobo” or distressed look, or even cut them into shorts for a more casual, themed costume. The nice part is jeans already feel natural, so you’re not stuck in something uncomfortable all night.

It’s one of those simple ways to reuse what you already have and still show up with something fun and put together.
